Students will have the opportunity to collaborate and craft a short film, which parents will be able to view at the end of the program.

Claymation Creations

This workshop introduces students to the world of claymation and stop-motion animation. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, shaping their own clay characters, crafting a script, developing a storyboard, and ultimately producing an animated short film featuring their creations. This camp blends creativity with an introduction to the animation process. All necessary clay materials will be provided.

Digital Photography

Students will learn the fundamentals of digital photography, covering composition techniques, lighting principles, and lens usage. They will explore abstract photography, master portrait techniques, experiment with special effects, and capture still-life images. This hands-on experience includes engaging activities such as photography and lighting challenges, along with photo critiques. The program culminates in a contest where students present their best photo, and the class votes for the winner. A DSLR camera (or equivalent) is required to attend—smartphones are not allowed.

Junior Newsroom

This workshop immerses students in the world of video journalism as they create their own news bulletin. Guided by a professional instructor, participants will develop segments including a studio anchor, breaking news reports, investigative journalism, entertainment updates, and a weather forecast. They’ll refine storytelling, interviewing, and performance skills. At the end of the camp, the instructor will compile all the segments, allowing participants to see their complete news bulletin.
